The noisy
footsteps of the two small children could be heard in the streets
of Verona. Young Romeo and his accomplice Rosaline were racing back
home in order to keep from being caught. The children, only 5 years
old at the time, had accidentally released the soon to be
slaughtered chickens that belonged to one of Veronas greatest
farmers. After admiring the many feathered creatures, Romeo and
Rosaline had dared each other to see who could get the closest to
the fence without chickening out. Not wanting to be defeated by a
girl, Romeo had climbed up on top of the fence and taunted Rosaline

Desperate, he reached out to grab something, anything to help him

He wouldnt. Romeo decided that he would never find love again. If

that moment, but what he did not realize was that eventually he
would learn to love someone else.
For the time being, all Romeo knew was that he would not be
able to see Rosaline anymore. Their friendship was going to have to
end because Romeo knew that he would not be able to handle spending
time with her when he knew that she could not love him back. So in
this part of his life, Romeo was just going to have to learn to
live without Rosaline, and try to hide his true feelings for her in
order to prevent the awkwardness after what had happened to them.
